Matt Campbell

Matt Campbell played at a house show last night...and he played at the Basement the night before. You may know Matt as the fiery lead singer for The Deep Vibration. Nowadays, he's been carrying himself solo. He has a voice reminiscent of Ben Kweller, Jeff Tweedy, and Ryan Adams. He encapsulates Neil Young's best moments on guitar. And he paints the most vivid pictures of desert landscapes, open roads, airports, the 90's, and CiCi's Pizza.
